It is a sad and joyful day for the GCF as we had to say goodbye to Zee. Zee is on his way to contribute to the EWT cheetah metapopulation project which the GCF is happy to be supporting.

The GCF had an opportunity to teach and show University students volunteering with WEI how we track and monitor our cheetah. They had a chance to learn more about research and the realities of conservation and research based work.
The three rhinos that were introduced onto Gondwana Game Reserve through the GCF due to potential poaching situations have been successfully bonded. The two young males are frequently seen together and are regularly visited by the female who keeps a close eye on them.
