Conservation Kids Program is a go!
The Gondwana Conservation Foundation’s 2019 Kids Program is well under way. The learners who have attended the environmental program are having great fun learning about the many different aspects of conservation presented to them. We have had some learners favouring the black wattle removal activity, while others are more interested in animal tracking and telemetry work or learning about Fynbos. Each learner has had to complete a worksheet at the end of the day and this has given us some interesting feedback on the knowledge that they have gained and how they perceive what we do at the GCF. One learner wrote “It cleared my mind and I felt like it was paradise.” The GCF looks forward to welcoming the remainder of the 250 learners who will be attending the Conservation Program this year on Gondwana Game Reserve.
