Drone Pilot Training
The GCF is focused on making use of the latest technology to make advancements in anti-poaching strategy as well as data collection in conservation. Jolandie Botha of the GCF is currently completing a drone training course which will assist Gondwana’s Ant-Poaching unit in aerial surveillance. The drone will also assist in collecting relevant data for the reserve about vegetation and monitoring or locating animals.
